Three balls of white or country bread on a black background with flour
Rustic

1. It is recommended to take the bread out of the freezer the night before and let it thaw at room temperature, wrapped in a kitchen towel or in its original packaging. Ensure the bread is completely thawed before baking

2. Place the bread directly on the oven rack, without a tray or baking paper, to allow proper air circulation. For a crispier crust, you may place a small dish of hot water in the bottom of the oven to create steam during baking.

3. Preheat your oven at 180°C (350°F). Preferably using a fan/convection setting if available.

4. Bake for 10 to 14 minutes, depending on your oven. It’s ready when the crust is golden and the bottom sounds hollow when tapped.

5. Let the bread cool for at least 5-10 minutes on a wire rack. This sets the crumb and keeps the crust crisp.

Baking times are approximate and may vary depending on the type of oven and your preferred level of doneness.
We recommend keeping an eye on the bread during baking and adjusting the time as needed to achieve the desired result.
